but, unlike UB40, I DO have a clue what and what not to try. like this song for example: dude should've kept his fishy stinky little fingers off it, for christ's sake - but uh oh, almost forgot nothing's sacred anymore, and people can (and will) fuck up great things as they please, of which this is a case in point indeed.

it's "before", with an r. and no, The Manhattans don't have too many great songs besides this one, but still: it's a 1000 times better than this your-average-friday-night-out- on-the-town crap. cuz crap it is and crap it always will be.

bazzlefizzle the Manhattans had plenty of great songs before this. You and the rest of the mainstream populations don't know them. They had been recording for 12 years before "Kiss and Say Goodbye". And I agree Manhattans original 1000 times better than this pseudo reggae tripe.

To categorize me as "mainstream" for not having the Manhattans' full back catalogue down - and thus not doing it justice, really - is a bit easy. Moreover, it's besides the point I'm trying to make. Which is: the Manhattans version is true music, this one isn't. Thank you for backin' it up though ;)
