but DONT forget the MAIN point..this car starts at 15k. so at 15k for an off road/SUV this car is GREAT..yes there are better cars..but tell me a better SUV that can climb those bolders at 15k

Wow, imo this guy must seriously have something against Jeep. I just took one of these babys (2012 model) for a test drive. I can honestly say, for the price it is the BEST car I have ever driven. I will be buying one shortly. Not to mention, this SUV has such a sexy look.

@Daniyoyo i can get a lr disco 2 for cheaper, and better capabilities, i can get a grand cheorkee for cheaper, a wrangler for cheaper, a freelander for cheaper, and a lot for cheaper with better capablilities, although it is still a nice little car :)

I own a 2009 patriot and I used it to tow a u-hual trailer from the west coast to arkansas with about 1500lbs it was slow but it was abel to get the job done. then i came back to the west coast with the same weight and still runs like new. I also speed thru speed bumps and curbs like its my job and have not broken any thing

This cirkus monkey doesnt have a damn clue about the patriot and what it is intended for. I love my car and it climbs the sh*t out of everything ive tried to climb when you setup the 4x4 and the gearing properly. What a fraud of a review. He should get sued by the manufacturers! The car was never marketed as a wrangler numbnuts!

This guy is retarded. Yes your retarded I said it. I'm 6'1" tall and I have plenty of room. It does great in the snow/dirt and I'd have bought a wrangler if I wanted to go rock crawling. I bought the Patriot for commuting to college and back home. Mine, a 2008 4x4 version, gets great gas mileage( college kids budget). In addition, it's dirt cheap. I got mine, after everything was said for $17,500 (2 year warrenty included). Mine has everything I need, and some extra. This is a horrible review.
