@LaGrandeBeaute Yes indeed it was a gross exaggeration. I was trying to highlight the oppressive gun laws Europe has in place....& I didn't know how to express myself, it just blurted out. Historically, Great Britain has been the worst "offender". As WW2 broke out, the young men at the time by far had never even seen a rifle, let alone know how to use one....a product of the intense anti-gun sentiment & laws at that time. Todays ever more restrictive laws have made London a hotbed for murder.
Europe is a different society? Europe has more than 1 country in it you do understand that right? We have many kinds of people and many kinds of social standards. To generalize an entire continents society as "sheep" is exactly what the world expects from an american. A typical ignorant response. But hey, I get where you are coming from. Also, this rifle is made in Italy. Plenty of people own weapons there. We just aren't stupid enough to shoot another person with it.
the only sheep I see.. I'm answering to.....keep buying guns in market keep crying Columbine....you think a gun can keep you alive when all people near you has one? I don't think there are less homicides in your country than in europe...at all. -.-"
The great thing of the 45LC in rifle form is the full exploitation of the round with the long barrel....getting the bullet up to a more useful (Lethal) velocity. One doesn't need hot loads to do a good job, just a long barrel. Europe is a different society...a society of sheep. Dial 911 & die. I for one will pick up my gun to defend myself, rather than hide in a corner with the phone.
Quit removing the stock from your shoulder between every shot. You are creating a TERRIBLE habit for effectively shooting your weapon! Shoot, Work the Lever, Shoot again. Just an FYI!

It is a nice gun but if you want to really use the power of the 45lc the action is to weak to shot anything other than plinkers.
