Thank you so much for recognizing Randy. I feel the same way and was humbled and educated by him to a degree that is impossible to describe. My song, "De La Ruse" was written for him and about the inspiration he provided me having seen him as both a drummer and vibe player since 1973-probably before you were born.
Love Randy Roos. Sorry to take away from the vibe mastery, but I think he's one of the great guitarists of our time, a shame he's so under recognized, even in the fusion and new age worlds.
