WEKA panels are the new Italian Wool and Lime Plaster Insulation

your method of application looks sporadic and inconsistent .does this make any difference to finish?
-
nice work

Nice work guys. I suppose since you did not use any waxes, you used autoglossing veneziano and burnished it with a trowel. It looks beautiful.

Hi Lilyla,
Yes it does. when applying the final coat your hand must be consistent and inconsistent. As you lay down the plaster it creates what we call a print. I use the same amount of plaster on my trowel every time. However, I move it around in inconsistent directions. Staying focused on blending and keeping it level and smooth. Thanks for your comments I appreciate your interest in Venetian plaster. Come visit me at my blog sometime.

Thanks for the comments Skyline,
This is the only polished plaster that I know of that does not require a wax. As painters we just assume that there is a coat of wax or sealer. The marble flour is a high grade and when we burnish the final coat it brings the marble content to the surface and seals at the same time.
This ceiling cost was under 15 thousand.
