Taken from The Lady Washington, the ship used in filming The Pirates of the Caribbean. Filmed on Lake Union in Seattle July 12, 2009. Handling sailing ships is a very tricky business. The interesting part of this video is how the crew works together. The young people in this do an extraordinary job and still manage to have quite a good time. These are fine kids doing a fine job carrying on a rich tradition with the help of the excellent officers. Thanks to Dennis, Sarah, Alex, Jimmy, Jason, Mark (on shore leave), Beau, and Captain Dave This was shot using a JVC Everio GZ-MS100. Thanks to the Gray's Harbor Historical Seaport, a non-profit in Aberdeen, WA who promotes this ship, The Hawaiian Chieftan and tall ship sailing and education across the West Coast of the United States.
