All these teachers, the union and the elected Democrats should be hauled in on RICO charges.

The Teacher's Union creates it's own overpriced health insurance company and then has in their contract that THEY get to choose which insurance plan that the taxpayers are going to have to fund.

Big Teachers and Big Democrats colluding to bilk the taxpayers, with Big Media covering their arses. Plus ca change, plus c'est la meme chose.

Government workers should not be unionized, they are dealing with taxpayer money. There is nothing to negotiate, just keep giving them more!!!!! The local communities should have to vote to raise salaries and it should come out of the local city/county budgets.

I don't actually care what a teacher is paid, per se. The state should set a min. base and the individual boards cover anything over that. If you want to overpay, your local taxes go up.

NO government worker should be unionized. When the union sits across the negotiating table from some Lib Democrat, who represents the taxpayers? End 'defined benefits' and go to 'defined contribution.'

Bill the union for damages to The Capitol and file fraud charges on TEA Trust.

tell me where on your paystub does it say "Religious withholding? If you listened to anyone besides idiots like Ed Schultz you'd know that. Unions are not people. They're fat cat suits with mega phones lying to their members to keep the money rolling.

Yes, you can only bargain salary up to the CPI, which means your salary will go down every year. Also, teachers will then have no say in any other issue like safety. Let's say a teacher sees mold and says something - fired.

OMG that is hilarious. Evidently, you have never belonged to a church. If you are a Catholic and don't pay, you don't get sacraments their John Paul, so you don't go to heaven because you are a SINNER!!! LOLOL. Research says that non-religious people know more about religion than religious people do.
