@revolutionary1948 I'm Chinese and Mao was a terrible leader. He was a great guerrilla fighter and revolutionary who overthrew the corrupted Nationalist party. But he's a terrible ruler who caused many deaths through starvation, not to mention that he was corrupted by power and eventually became a dictator.

True. But i was actually assuming that you support western leaders or other leaders in general. You have to otherwise you wouldnt condemn Mao, because you would have nothing else to compare him to - in which case youd have to admit he is just as good if not better than all other leaders. And really i didnt care where youre from, i was making the point that no matter where you live the leaders actions are open to personal interpretation. youre mad because youre stupid.

@revolutionary1948 Actually, he tried to destroy all Chinese culture and killed millions of his own people. Chinese people aren't allowed to say they dislike him or the government will arrest them. But of course, you probably think Stalin was just misunderstood, and that Communists can never do anything wrong.

@revolutionary1948 He ordered people killed (including my great-grandfather). Now I know I'm a little biased, but think ethically— if you were a druglord and you ordered someone killed then you would go to jail. It's just wrong.
