  • @therealhardrock Region locking: one is to play US games, the other Japanese.

  • @EpicTwistedOne Because Nintendo and other companies tend to frown upon that, you'll probably be excluded from further firmware updates, and (commensurate to those facts) it voids your warranty.

    We tend to be anti-piracy, anti-ROM, anti-modding here at the Dojo.

  • the fact that you talk a lot about Japan-exclusive games on this show got me thinking, what percentage of games released on the Famicom were also released on the NES?

  • it,s maybe a stupid ininportmant queastion but i wonder how the sound from the microphone is generated,or the sound may go passtrough the external sound input or it,s generated by the famicom dpcm channel.

    does someone here has any guess???

    also has someone ever tryed to play the us and eu version of zelda on the famicom and use the microphone???
