  • Very well done, just the notion that polarity of the active electrode dictates the type of treatment is over simplisitc. The polarity is selected according to the charge of the solution. If the solution has a positive charge then the active electrode should be positive as it will repel the solution towards the skin. However if we use lets say Vit C the charge is negative so if we use positive polarity the ascorbic acid C6H8O6 will stay in the electrode and will only push Hydrogen into the skin.
