Game 2 of the NHL Hitz 2003 Stanley Cup Finals between Western Conference Champion #1 seed Streator Mobsters (my created franchise) and the Eastern Conference Champion #3 seed New York Rangers. The Rangers lead the series 1-0.
As expected, this Stanley Cup Finals series was destined to be both hard-hitting and high-scoring. And in game 1, both criteria were met. The Rangers and Mobsters played with ferocity, and in the end the final ended up favoring New York. Brian Leetch scored twice as the Rangers were able to survive the blazing attack of Streator, 4-3. For the first time in the postseason, Streator has lost a game 1. Will this series' second game be a bumpy carnival ride for the Mobsters?
