@mischief83 THANKS, think ill leave the ballon off then :-)
ill look at my battery position , normaly ends up at front of boat by time im done so bit of velcro will help.
my fins point straight down so ill sort them too
i wish there was more of a warnng for the battery as my one had a noticable drop in power but not much to make me bring her in, then it just stopped! yep, wet feet.
thanks again

Hi mischief83
ive just got an offshore and its my first rc boat, second hand, 2.4ghz version, no instructions but i fly rc planes so know a little about the electrics ect and sort of worked out the transmitter.
what tweeks have you done so far?
ive run mine once and it looks as thou it is running the same as yours!
what is it on top you have, is it to stop it sinking? how is it fitted?
also what are the two metal fins at back for and what does adjusting angle on them do?

Hi mate, main thing I done was to move the battery mount a bit further back and I also adjusted the turn fins so they have less angle.
The thing on top was just a ballon, which I put the end under the top cover before sloting it in and screwing down. The idea was to help her flip back over when she capsizes. It works really well in my tests, but it creates a bit of drag and slows her down.
The turn fins at the back - the lower they are the better she turns, but adds drag = slower
