The King's Gambit is a sharp attack against the king side of black. White gives up a pawn to start the game in exchange for a lead in development. Black has to be very careful as one wrong move and white's aggressive game can quickly win the game.

  • Thums up if you tried this many times and nobody moved g5!!

  • There is a third variation of the King's Gambit, called King's Gambit (Stupid). It occurs when your father plays Pawn to F5 when you attempt to use this opening against him.

  • Thanks so much i have a tournament tomorrow so this will definetly help! Ur the best! =)

  • @Omango99 pretty sure all chess pieces are considered male.

  • the volume is very low.

  • I think this actually makes the kings gambit look better than it really is because h6 or f6 are both kinda shitty moves for black after Ng5 and are far from being the mainline these days. An immediate d5 is much better and really throws a wrench into whites aggressive plans.

  • this is a good video, but the sound quality is awfull

  • 6:54 f8 to d6?

  • this video is shit quality

  • @xdrdosx you didn't watch the whole video! 8:25

  • @Omango99 the queen could be a crossdresser these days

  • @Stephan2lax10 I actually saw a game where Karpov tried to hold onto the extra pawn against Spaasky
