KEKR-TV "Super 62" Ident 1983

Channel 62's FIRST logo from late 1983 to the beginning of 1985. KEKR-TV was a very low-budget TV station when it was first launched, but it had a variety of syndicated fare (Inspector Gadget, He-Man, Heathcliff, Transformers, etc). The station was later acquired by Media Central and was renamed KZKC in January of 1985.

I can remember the day KEKR became KZKC...this was my favorite station.

P.S. KSMO is now also sister station to KCTV channel 5 a CBS affliate of Kansas City.

It is now my network TV affiliated station KSMO under the name "My KSMO TV" and "My KSMO TV.com" and now owned by the Meredith corporation.
