Author M.T. Anderson appears at the 2010 National Book Festival.

Speaker Biography: M.T. Anderson writes for readers of all ages through his picture books for children, stories for adults, adventure novels for young readers and books for teens and adults. His satirical book "Feed" was a finalist for the National Book Award and won the Los Angeles Times Book Prize. "The Astonishing Life of Octavian Nothing, Volume 1: The Pox Party" won the 2006 National Book Award for Young People. Volume 2 of this saga received the Michael L. Printz Honor for literary excellence. Anderson has published stories for adults in literary journals such as The Northwest Review, The Colorado Review and Conjunctions. He is also a contributor to the serialized story called "The Exquisite Corpse Adventure," available exclusively on the Library of Congress website at Read.gov. His newest work is "The Suburb Beyond the Stars" (Scholastic). Anderson lives in Massachusetts.
