  • fill up your core(abs) first then everything else, this will train your body to fill up from the bottom to top unstead of filling up from top(chest) to bottom. The glass fills from the bottom to top frist when being filled

  • In order to get a nice full sound out your horn you may want to use an "OO" syllyble when playing. just putting the mouthpiece to your mouth will just give you a genaric sound. in order to get that nice full round sound, simply use the OO syllyble and use a nice full sound when intaking air.

When taking in air, remember to fill up your entire body, not just your chest

  • Yea dude. some ways to help improve your sound are some of the basic things that you might of heard from your band director(I hope),

  • @TricoreSonata09 yea.. i think OO or AH. both are good in my opinion :)

  • 2006 was suck a kick ass year, Faust ftw

  • @TricoreSonata09 I feel I've developed a very good tone over about a year and a half, better then most that have played for several. But could you explain what the "OO" Syllyble is I dont think i've heard of it.

  • Very nice. And as I watch this I'm holding my marching Euph :)
