Carrithyms! in the Community: FOX 5/CBS Radio 10th Annual Stuff-A-Truck Campaign - 8 AM

Yearly since 1991, Fox 5 DC (WTTG-TV) has worked with the Capital Area Food Bank and Giant Food to ensure that year round and especially during the holiday season, people in the DC Metropolitan area are able to utilize the services the Food Bank offers for their needs. With just $1.00, you can feed one person 3 meals.




2011 has been the most successful Stuff-A-Truck so far, compiling donations from four local Giant locations: Brentwood, Greenbriar, Hyattsville and Montrose Crossing.

Kendra Hyson and Carrithyms! was invited to warm up the crowd at the Brentwood location located in Northeast DC. Along with her are her instructors, Domonique Dancy-Ferrell, Nicole Sneed and Rhonda Farmer.

This is the *SECOND* appearance at 8 AM. After finishing a powerhouse choreography with team mascots Slapshot of the Washington Capitals and Screech of the Washington Nationals during the 7 AM hour, many donating viewers said they came because they saw the dance routine on the news and came out despite the bitter cold. The crowd enjoyed them so much, they were invited to do a second 'hit' at 8 AM.
