I have one of these, mines a 58 Minx :) either a special or a jubilee :) in the process of restoring :)

Poor thing.
-
nothing that a bit of T cut wont sort lol
-
that thing's gone.
-
this car is actually a good runner, I`ve seen worse at arnold clark
-
Lol, I somehow don't think this can be restored.....I'm not even sure any parts are even salvageable now.
-
did you check if the horn worked .hehe. poor thing
-
couple of weekends and it will be as good as new
-
This is beyond restoration. The best you could hope for is that a few parts might be salvageable, but even that would be a long shot.

i would be interested in the badges and rocker cover you have. i'm doing up a '65 super minx and could do with any spares haha. send me a message :)
A sad sight indeed.shouldnt think it was possible for a car to rust away so completely in 30 years ,I guess its a combination of British climate and steel quality...

Your probably right and it was buried under lots of brambles which I had to remove before I could film it. It was probably someones pride and joy once.

60s british cars have a bad reputation, they say if you listen closely a windstill day you can hear them rust. But theres hope.I know of a salvage yard here in Norway, where you still can find saveable cars from the 30s.Its far from the sea and up in the height so the climate is cold and dry,and theres not much grass and plants growing around them.

I would not mind looking around that salvage yard in Norway.

I think this one will need every part replacing even the bodyshell, LOL. Looked like someone did work on the engine at some point and did not put the bonnet or rocker cover back on.
I did find the rockers, bits of the front grill and two small bits of bonnet about 10 feet away, buried in the soil.
