HACK!!! YOU ARE A HACK!!! YOU ARE CRAZY TO USE A GRINDER on a hoof, try not to influence people with your ignorance. Cannot believe you trim horses and degrade my trade, GOD BLESS YOU

The reality is, on the ground there are equines not near a farrier, belonging to people who don't know anything about the hoof or care, can't find someone to help - that don't even pick hooves. Elf shoe toes and stove piped hooves. Equines not lucky enough to be close to the industry *need* someone near them to learn, to try, to access information they can understand in order to *do* something about it, help a friend or be prompted to get a farrier. Information accessable will help these ponies

Hi there Lady - learning from your videos - keep them coming. I shape my pony between farrier work. Major lack of Farriers in my area, bin seeing this one since I was a child. I like what I am learning from your work and honest to goodness commentary. There aren't learning options where I am and I have to learn as I trim and shape the nicks. It's great my farrier is open to encouraging my understanding, explaining my mistakes and just showing me

u sound like ur 9 :O
God bless you also, and I thankyou, it must have taken a lot of self control and love for God, to express your feelings without calling me a name. Thank you and God our mutual father truly bless you.

you are having way too much fun! thanks for the videos. I’ve watched about 8 of them this evening and I’m so excited to straighten out my horses hooves!!! (and to show my husband how to make a variable speed grinder!) wish me luck!

@njblalock In a few weeks I should be posting some videos, that will take the whole luck thing right out of the equasion, and give you a full understanding of what you are doing, give you xray vision, and help you know absolutely how to give your horse the soundest foot possible. I haven't done any videos for a while and since then I've had some major breakthroughs in understanding, making a WORLD of difference in my horses hooves, so hope to share soon.

I am also learning barefoot trimming by myself because there's no one here to do it and I can't go on a course, because I have the farm to look after.I finally decided to go barefoot after a "master farrier" trimmed my horse lame on all four feet ..quite a feat ...!! I am two years into it now and learning all the time. It's wonderful people like you on the tube who help me SO much on the journey, and the horses of course .Keep on uploading ,I am subscribed ,many thanks !

@chelackie Well I just wish you the best! So many "experts" just hate these videos, and do not realize how many people there are just like "us" out there, that have few resources, or little to no to bad farriers, and have to take it upon themselves to help their horses. Plus they hate the fact you could actually learn to do it like this, when they went to a school to learn how to screw up hooves ( :

An expert after 2 days of school?? Try a lifetime. Go to a good school and learn to do it the right way. A good education is an investment.

@jaminkindt Also not knocking education, but wasn't it Albert Einstein that said: "The only thing that keeps me from learning is my education?" Education is fine as long as you can continue to grow and have a mind of your own and not get locked into false traditions that are error and taught as the truth.
