Source recorder. Ingame, open console in a game and type "record demoname" and then "stop" to end it. Then type "startmovie moviename.avi avi" and then "playdemo demoname" and then "endmovie". The avi will be saved into your steamapps/username/game/game folder.

Yea, use Fraps. The Free one u can only do 10-20 seconds per clip, but if you manage to buy it or possibly torrent it then you can record as much as u want with no limit. Just make sure you got free space on your harddrive to save your recorded video. xD
