Lee Oskar Harmonicas - Tombo Instrument Factory Tour

Fascinating. What's happening between 3:06 and 3:16? Is it some sort of heat treatment? I didn't think so because the plastic combs are already inserted. Any info welcome.

While Lee Oskar Harmonicas are not my favorite harps, they do last FOREVER, unlike certain Hohners. I just prefer the tone of the Hohner Golden Melody. Lee Oskar, on the other hand, is one incredible harmonica player. It's a shame that the full TOMBO harmonica line is not available in the USA.  They make some great models, like the Tombo Ultimo.

Hey Todd, If you get a chance to view my "Suzuki Harpmaster Db" video you will note me making a very similar comment about Lee Oskar harps outlasting Hohner Marine Bands. I tend to blow out Marine Bands and if it is a Standard One they can be a real pain to repair what with the nails and all (sorry Dave Payne, I know you dig pulling the nails, but it seems akin to pulling teeth to me, lol)...

I switched from blues harps to lee oskar. they sound great and last longer.
