Saw them at the Warfield in SF in 1991, the year they broke up. There were at the top of their game. For me, the break up was officially the end of the best era in pop: the 80s, even though Paul went on to record some great music post 'mats. Long live 80s music and The Replacements!
@dashofchutmeg What??? I listen to one song on Let It Be and that's I WIll Dare. Tim, however, is chock full of good songs. Then I'd take Don't Tell A Soul, then Pleased To Meet Me, then All Shook Down, then Let It Be (but only for that one song), and no others.
I think this their best album.A lot of replacement purists will say Let it be is their best or Pleased to meet me but just about every song on this album is a gem

@CitizensDisclosure If all you listen to Let it Be is the first track, you're missing out on the ten other incredible songs on it.
