Toki Tori - Catch a Cold Achievement Guide

This video shows where to find and how to get the ten snowflakes for the new "Catch a Cold - Collect all ten snowflakes that appear in December before they melt" achievement in Toki Tori.

!! Note: Some of the level layouts and therefore the solutions have been slightly changed with an update on december 23rd. They now should be easier.

The snowflakes and a winter theming for the Forest Falls levels have been added with an undocumented update on december 17th and are part of the Steam Holiday Sale 2011 event.

To get the achievement you have to collect the ten snowflakes located in different levels of Forest Falls before they smelt. That means, instead of solving puzzles like normal you now have to find the quickest way to the snowflake before it disappears. And time is really short.

Therefore I recommend to combine mouse and keyboard controls. Your're much quicker building bridges and teleporting using the keyboard shortcuts 1,2,3 etc. for that.

If you haven't played Toki Tori yet, you'll have to unlock some of the levels first by progressing in the campaign.

The snowflakes are located in the following levels of Forest Falls:

@fallenrainx Don't compare the gameplay required for the achievement with the normal gameplay, it's completely different. Toki Tori is a great and fun puzzle game and normally there's no hurry for finding a solution.

@JSchnitzXbox As soon as you've collected a snow flake it's saved to the achievement progress, no need to complete the level or to worry when you die or get trapped. Just proceed to the next snowflake level until you collected all 10.

This is the most frustrating game I have ever played. I am deleting this game the second I get the achievement and leaving that steam group. I hate this game with a burning passion.
