  • amazing video and a nice landing as well! May I ask you one question, how do you pilots get exactly on the centerline? I mean what instruments do you look at when you're in an ILS approach, or do you just look out of the window?

  • @AirbusA330Pilot Thanks ! It really is just a matter of looking out the window. The Localiser has you pretty much lined up on the centreline. If there is a X-wind, just before the Flare @ about 50 ft, I tend to be more towards the windward side, so when you touchdown you are perfectly on the centreline due the the drift.

  • Love your mixture of music and engine sound.

  • @MacartoChan : Thanks ! :)

  • Nice video! I was wondering what you are using to set you camera on the glareshield. I tried it aswell (737) but after nosegear tochdown the camera felt...

    Regards,

  • You just need a Camera with a wide Base so it doesn't fall over ... if not a Little Blutak Does the trick !

    Fail!

  • @tishan11 Amazing... I can't imagine the feeling of that ever gets old or feels "routine". It must be an adrenaline rush every time.

  • @tishan11 Amazing... I bet there's an adrenaline rush every time you do that. I can't imagine something like that ever feeling "routine"

  • @tishan11 ok thanks a lot, so you don't care about the flight director?

  • CNN just linked your vid.

  • @catflipper Because otherwise their might be an momentary lull in the stimulation of a sensory modality, because youtube makes that avoidable, and because we can't risk not stimulating ourselves all the time as much as possible (which also explains the obsession with "bobblehead videography" in TV and the movies). Luckily there's no cheap way (yet) to broadcast smells.
