"Oooooooh
Lydia oh Lydia, say have you met Lydia,
Lydia, the Tattooed Lady.
She has eyes that folks adore so,
And a torso even more so."

The boys in my Choir class sang this.... One of them turned around and grabbed his butt. It was so freaking hilarious! This song is awesome!

I love Skryim, but I never heard of this song until the boys in my choir sang this for the pop show. :)

GROUCHO!!! FUN, FUN, FUN! This is a timeless great bit of vaudeville/comedy!
I have seen it many times and it is so witty and absurd that it continues to be so funny!

Written especially for Groucho by Harold Arlen and "Yip" Harburg (who also wrote the songs for a Technicolor musical the same year, "The Wizard of....Something or Other").

Well my name is Lydia and I first learned of the song when a neighbor sang it for my 11th birthday in the islands. I was, naturally, extremely delighted to have heard it and that my name was actually in a song! Never heard of the Marx Brothers until then.
