How to Make a Banner for BlogTV, MySpace, YouTube...

Quick tips for making a custom banner with uploading instructions for BlogTV, MySpace, Stickam, and YouTube. If you don't have Photoshop you can use Paint Shop Pro or any number of different image editing programs.

UPLOADING A BANNER TO BLOGTV
990 x 140 dimensions. Save your file as JPEG. Go to your page. Click on "Customize Page" button located under the chat window. Then click on "Page Banner" button. Upload your file and "Save."

UPLOADING A BANNER TO YOUTUBE
960 x 150 dimensions. Must be a YouTube Partner!

UPLOADING A BANNER TO STICKAM
960 x 140 dimensions. You do NOT have to be an entertainer. Put your banner on Flickr, Photobucket, or something similar, then use the code found here: http://www.stickamstuff.com/stickamcodes/entertainer_banners.php

UPLOADING A BANNER TO MYSPACE
800 x 140 dimensions. Those are the specs I use, but you may want your banner to appear differently. Size it pretty much how you like. Again, you'll need to put the banner on Photbucket, Flickr, or something similar, then you can use the super simple code generator found here: http://xiii.us/eGen/topB.php

how do some people make there banners have a link in them when u click a certain part of the banner?

@StevenC818 I'm guessing they are Flash banners which YT Partners are allowed to have...or some variation of a Flash banner.

how do u add the pictures and erase the background of the pics?

@MurderAssassin94 In Adobe Photoshop I trace around he image I want to keep and then right click "make selection' and then drag that new selection onto my banner.

@HayattTv yeah, maximumrfan has it right. if you are accepted into the youtube partnership program you are allowed to display a banner above your page.

yeah, thats good and all but people on youtube can have banners but only if there youtube partners.... non-partners can't have them...
