iPhone earphone headphones mod cx300 mm50 swap

Lets face it the iPhone standard earphones are pants ! It's easy to solder a set of you prefered earphones to the apple set with the mic and buttons to control the iPhone. I used a set of mm50 sennheiser but the cx300 are the same and cheaper but in fact creative do a set that are made under licence in the same factory so are cheaper still.

Watch out for counterfit Sennhiester earphones ! EBay is riddled with them. You should be ok with play. The counterfit ones sound crap apparently. I would imagine you can do this mod with any set if you can get the apart.

Great video man... you saved my sennheisers! The cable broke (those cables are cr*p). I stuck the buds onto the iPod cable :-)

Is it possible to shorten the wire that is connected to the right headphone of the CX300? The only issue I have with the set is that the cables are asymmetrical.
