@IronCoredKnight The Brescia Spadona is based on a specific sword, rather than a type, so it could actually be either.
-
albion Brescia Spadona isnt a XVIIIa?
-
That's very nice
-
@NYHFA I think that was in reference to the disappointed look of the individual getting his hand cut off on the original woodcut.
-
@NYHFA I think that was in reference to the print in the opening frames. The gentleman getting his hand chopped off certainly does look as though he disapproves.

Those are some celan cuts! Of all the HEMA cutting videos on youtube this is probably the best one. You' ve got great technique, I can only hope to reach this level of cutting proficiency one day.
Keep up the good work!

@NYHFA Oh, tatami. Of course, sorry, it looked a bit like wood. With that bit about the disappointed face I meant in the drawing at the start; the dueller that got wounded at his wrist.
-
@NYHFA Ah yes, now I see the fuller. Blade geometry makes a difference, doesn't it? Still, a very impressive set of cuts, indeed.
(My replies to your replies aren't getting posted, so I hope this isn't a duplicate post.)
I love the disappointed face of the dude that got cut. What kind of wood was that, btw?

@FrisianDude I'm not sure what you mean, but if you're talking about the thing that was cut, that's not wood, that's tatami.

Very impressive, and with a type XVa at that!

@mrrhum I'd love to be able to do that with XV. :) It's a XVI though.
