Our BeatMix BumbleBee: Video and Review

My son and I just got a BeatMix BumbleBee, so I figured I'd review the toy and post a video :) We are huge BB fans, so this toy was a MUST for our collection!


Here, BumbleBee plays back the Transformers theme by Black Lab in front of my Bee background on my computer screen.


My review of BeatMix BumbleBee:
I think this is a great item personally. It's not really a toy, but more a speaker for your iPod or MP3 player or something to set up and sit and listen to and watch as you are playing with other toys. He's a little fragile, and I would recommend him for older kids, as it is a more expensive Transformers item. My 8 year old really likes it and he is being very protective of him and loves the mixing and sound effects buttons on him, but a younger kid could really hurt it very easily. It's a nice likeness of the character and pretty easy to use, but I do wish however that it came with a longer adapter cord and that it had a higher volume control. I really like that it randomly plays back things if it is just sitting still with no music playing, and the 'flapping' car door wings seem to light up and move to the beat. I give this item an overall 8 out of 10 for kids (and kids at heart) that are BumbleBee fans over at least 7 years old.
