The year was 1988. I was living in Germany, an American desperately missing English language and culture. "Somewhere in my Heart" was a staple of BFBS (British Forces Broadcasting Service). I would never have made it through this challenging time in my life without this song, it was something small but it gave me hope. My I had forgotten what a dish Roddy Frame was.
