At Port Orford's Redfish Rocks marine reserve, scientists and fishermen

@axsundiver Luckily, all of the moorings stayed in place during the tsunami.

Scientists are conducting this research to learn about the movement behaviors of six commercially and recreationally valuable fish species which live there. Their work will provide baseline information about fish behavior in this area prior to the closure of the reserve. This data will help us measure how the closure affected local fish populations in the future.
