Guiding Light Early fall 1984 Part 1

A scene between Louie and Katie at Cedars. He wants her to go to a ball game with him. Rick shows up with Mindy yelling at him. She wants another chance and he points out that he no longer has to put up with her tantrums. He is done with her. She stomps off. A doctor tells Lillian that Beth is in New York and just saw a colleague of his. Billy has gone to Europe to get Vanessa back. She is upset at how he has changed because of Reva. She wants him to quit blaming Reva for everything and that she's the reason he has changed. He refuses to accept that and tells her he doesn't want Reva to come between them. He wants her to come home. She tells him she loves him but that she can't go with him because they need time. She is pregnant and he wants them together. He thinks Vanessa is imagining their problems. She wants more time and he says he does not time to hang around Switzerland waiting for her. He tells her that if she doesn't come with him now he will not come back again. Lillian continues to quiz the doctor about Beth. She's worried because Beth flew off with Philip and she hasn't heard from them. Beth and Philip are at the doctor's in NY and Beth has lost her prescription and when the secretary gives it to her she spills her purse. Meanwhile Lillian calls and is put on hold. Beth wants to call her mom and Philip lies that he's left her a message. He tells her she can call later from the hotel. Beth has dropped her key on the floor.
