@su79nioj Ah, I see. Yes I knew that fuel injectors are pulsed from the ECU, this is how injectors control fuel flow since injectors only have 2 settings, open and closed. I didn't realize this device held them open though. I think some fuel injector cleaners do pulse the injectors. Ethier way, this really shows, even at 85% duty cycle, punching your gas pedal uses quite a bit of fuel

You will need a surficant type solvent mixed with distilled water.

Is this actual like full engine load injector flow? Or does this exceed typical full engine load flow that you would see in real life..... becuase I gotta say, even for full load, whatever vehicle those injectors go in, it eats up some serious gas!!!!

@SaGalv This is a 'static flow' test, which gives you the maximum flow rate of the injectors. In practice, injectors are never 'fully open' (instead they are pulsed) and are rarely used beyond 85% of their static flow - a figure we refer to as the 'duty cycle'. Thanks for your interest.

When you clean a set of injectors how do you dry them before putting them on the fuel rail again? If the liquid for testing stay in injector there could be negine malfuncioning..

The injectors are shaked dry of solvent, which naturally evaporates and provides a protection for the internal parts. Any few drops left in the injectors are safely passed though the engine.

Hi, I would like to know what kind of liquid you use for injection testing on your video?

Non-flamable coloured solvent (non n-heptane).
