Ford Focus XR5 Turbo (ST) Dreamscience Dsci acceleration

Acceleration with the Dreamscience Dsci map. I've timed these vids against stock and there is not a great difference, but the ass dyno says otherwise.

my old 1999 1.9 diesel vw passat was quicker an that was just ccc-tech chip (not an ebay mod chip), was running 31psi and 158hp 255lb/ft torque

my timing 21 secs to 160kmh, my speedo is in mph though, that cars seriously held back, check my vid, bit shaky recording but there ya go

@hongkongstuey I should probably add an annotation for that 0-160 clip, it was in less than ideal conditions for a standing start (turning onto an off camber bumpy road). I have a clip up of a 1/4 mile run using the weaker Performance+ map, 14.47 seconds at 98.9mph/159kmh, and that was with a very average launch.

I'm sorry do you own or drive one to know if they are " not reliable and not the greatest quality"? No because you live in America, under Fords American division of cars. While In Britain, Ford is renowned for its reliability and perhaps the quality is not of German standard, but the fact is, it doesn't cost German money!

You can't compare nissan with Ford, Ford is way better. Ford Focus ST is the best hothatch there is. Sounds amazing, handles like a dream, is fast and looks nice. I would love to have one, and may buy one in a few years. Not some uglyass nissan. No offence btw;) love your ST gibbonenhancements.

My BA XT is a little faster (7.1) ahaha (only when it's freezing and good cold air density) it's about 9.2 when it's hot

wow.. i dont know how people can compare this to a civic... civics are so much faster from factory. my 1990 sohc crx was MUCH faster then this.

You shift to fast. WIth my 2.0 Zetec im faster.
