Hello, figured I'd pass this along, I have a Cannon PowerShot A570IS Camera that has a low battery glitch that seems to indicate a low charge even when the batteries are charged and fresh. It has come to my attention that is only a glitch and has no merit on the performance of the camera, I have a corded adapter and I also get this low battery indication, therefore I'm positive it's just a sensor error.

If you get a low battery warning on this cameras, just turn the camera off, wait 30 Sec. & power back on, this ought to help clear any error so you can atleast continue taking pictures (Note that this will not work if you batteries are truly drained)

  • Well I am sorry to say that but the guy on the video is a MORON! I have the real fix for the problem and not the stupid "do not pay attention" solution. Again I apologize, but i have to voice my opinion, as in do more research you will find the real solution.

  • @vic6334 I don't pay attention because it's a glitch even when hard wired I get that message o I redneck it & ignore.

  • @clubcar98 I don't believe it's battery related, just a sensor glitch since it also happens when adapter is plugged in & the batteries removed.

  • I wonder if this has anything to do with generic batteries compared to a name brand good batteries...?

None the less, as long as it works, even if it is not the most convenient issue to deal with. I do wonder why this is happening...
