to all you moose lovers out there, come to alaska and see if you can survive on going to the market every month to buy food, while these moose can last you a good 4-5 months and thats alot of meat also, and i agree with metallicaholic43088, its a great source of meat and you wont go broke since you aint buying the meat, you might be lucky to get off with like 50 bucks gas plus the bullets you spent to kill the damn thing

TO ALL YOU MOOSE LOVERS!! I love moose too. They are amazing animals. Hunting them is a sad I agree but i also live in Maine where Moose at times over populate the roads and kill many on the highways. They come out of no where and are so big and fast that you can not stop before they crash into your windshield.

we are man a moose is a beast..man conqueors beast and brings food home to supply his family..to all the morons here saying its wrong to hunt moose then i say to you..go eat a hmburger that came from a cow that was inhumanley force processed in an assembly line type fashion. hunting is a part of life..and by the way guys...moose tastes good! one bullet and i have enough food for months..u try buying that much processed cow meat without going broke!
