When I first listened to this piece, the first thing I thought of was Studio 54 in NYC ca. 1976! (was never there but am old enough to remember)
-
try putting the NYC Time Square View over this music also! ^_^

Totally Love it !!! :D
It sounds like the Russian Style of the Saturday Night Fever!!!
Barvo! Maestro Kapustin!

I kept thinking I'd see Letterman or Leno appear with an over excited TV announcer voice over....

bass

Oh, nevermind. I remembered that I already had it, but hadn't listened yet.

Haha, I can't help but have so much fun with this piece. It's almost as if Kapustin didn't want the 70s to end! Where did you get this recording from?

Kinds of Groovy xD

I love the base!

Very cool video, kudos to you fisherroastedpeanut
I am a Kapustin fan but I'm not sure if this is my favorite piece. I don't feel the Tokyo vibes at all. Rather, I picture a Russian circus with a brass orchestra accompanying the acrobats/circus animals...
The music fits the video perfectly. I`d love to visit Tokyo, one day.
