I am very well aware it's actually pronounced /BASE/ but I've said /BASS/ since I was a kid, so it's hard to break, which is again, why I just stick with Forte.

Also, I'm not sure what's with my obsession with double jump.

It's not the GB though, but the Wonderswan, which was produced by Bandai. However, the Gameboy and Wonderswan were both the brain children of Gunpei Yokoi.

@hyperzero12 It was pronounced as BASE in the original series, not BASS. It's the whole reason that his robot wolf partner is named Treble; the pun wouldn't work if his name was "Bass" like the fish.

Actully bass is pronounced both base and bass in megaman original he was called bass and in battle network he was pronounced base also everyone loves to double jump well I do anyway
