@bamafencer12 please do not bear false witnesses against your neighbor. Tommy Hilfiger never made racist statements. It was a malicious rumour. The anti-defamation league did an investigation in 2001 and he found that he never made racist statements. Oprah Winfrey even stated that she has never met him. Spreading rumours is not classy and definitely not preppy. And I'm black so you can't say I'm saying this because I am a white racist trying to cover for Hilfiger.

Despite the certain preppy brands, a real preppy is never tacky, never brags about having money (even is they have a lot of money), never snobby and preps are extremely friendly and social so don't be surprised if you see one playing guitar and drinking beer with his friends.
