Crunchy, sweet, flaky goodness rolled into one. Banana lumpia is called turon in Filipino. It's common at Guam or Chamorro parties too.

  • @metalchildkat - it is as delicious as it looks! the great thing about this recipe is that you can roll then freeze the lumpia....frying them as needed! the wrapper is soooo crunchy and it is the perfect sweetness - not too much and not too little!

  • @TheRealQuerida - thanks for commenting! I have never used regular bananas for this so I'm glad it does work...thanks again!! Oh, and I think the brown sugar would be yummy too...i'll try it next time!

  • I prefer using regular bananas for this recipe as well as using brown sugar. Gotta be careful though not to burn the lumpia because of the sugar. ;)
