Hard to believe, but that 'chug-chug' line hasn't always existed somebody actually had to think of that style of playing. His music is really great. Michael Pickett you are an amazing artist and musician , blues with original energy and charisma. Great video!

Robert Johnson revolutionized guitar playing. I guess that Johnson invented the 'boogie bass line' that liberated him from the necessity of having a backing bass player to play his blues. The 'chug-chug-chug-chug' line that holds up the rhythm all the time while Johnson 'weaved' the melody lines around it.
