It's only the first third or so of this song as I haven't learned the middle part yet, the last third is the same as the first - one day I'll get around to finishing it.

I am now aware that I am playing a wrong note repeatedly in the left hand, I never noticed before but now I have corrected that based on the comment feedback on here

Also check out my other vid of Schubert Impromtpu in G b Major. I know it sounds shit on my casio keyboard, but it's still a great melody

  • this i really, really good!! I play this piece aswell, and I have camed just as long as you so far. damn you are good with the fingers, you play safe and with perfection! How long have you been practising piano and how long on this piece? please give me some tips :-D veeery good job man!!

  • Hi thanks for your comment, I've been playing this almost a yr.. I'm too lazy to learn the middle part, because the first part is my favourite.. As far as tips go, I suggest practicing your Eb major and Bb major scales with your right hand and if you get that down pat you've practically done all the work. Start off slow, say 60 tempo.. then slowly ramp it up to speed as you get more confident ;)

  • Some people say this piece is easy. However I really don't think that it is. You have to have good technique to play it and sometimes requires demanding fingering.

Well done, you played most of it well. How are you getting on with the other section/s?

  • Thanks, I'm working on Schubert's Impromptu in Gb major at the moment because I think it's a beautiful sounding piece that's similar to the 1st movement of the Moonlight Sonata in my opinion because there's this sub-melody in the right hand of Gb major Impromptu as well as an additional melody on top of that, which is like Moonlight.

Anyway I seem to be learning it fairly quickly so I expect to upload it soon.

  • Ugh! Nice work for the most part. But how could you get so far into learning this piece without noticing that you're playing the left hand part so obviously wrong? I hate when that happens - sometimes it takes more time to unlearn a mistake than it took to learn the entire piece in the first place.

  • It's not possible that this impromptu was written in 1897, because schubert died in 1828

  • yeah it was 1827... just check the wrong notes in your left hand :)

  • Fantastic!! ;)

  • He doesn't look like a cock. What are you talking about?

  • Woo, calm down! I've already found it, I know how to use Google... Couldn't find it at first, because I used the wrong Op. number ;)

  • are you serious, just do a google search for it!

  • not bad but you look like a cock

  • Schubert Impromptu in E flat Major!!! great!!

  • i love the end!!! FORT:D

  • i love it

  • Very impressive to get such a good sound out of an electric keyboard... nice, consistent tempo. A little loud at times but I think that's a sacrifice that must be made to get a good sound out of most electric instruments. I hope you post the rest of the piece sometime soon.

  • It Was Great!!!!

Keep playing it will be amazing once you've finished it

  • very smooth :)

  • That was amazing.. especially the end :-)

    Good work

  • excelente

  • absolutely wonderful! Bravo! I know this piece inside out because it's been one of my favorites since i learned it about 6 years ago. There's only ONE thing i could suggest you could improve on. On the octave graces notes in the slower section on page 2 you could make the top note sing out and really ring like you're playing a bell almost. Imagine grabbing in with your pinky while slightly tilting your hand to the thumb. ^_^ you played it SO good though. A ++++

  • generally to say not bad

but there are little mistakes to practice

    and a very important thing

volumn and speed need more dolce and average

the performance after 1 min is a little bit too fast

it's just only my some experience

you can make it better :D

  • WoW! Why is everyone so critical? I appreciate it for what it is. Good job man! This vid inspired me to attempt this piece for myself.

  • You play so well, but I do not like the sound of electric piano. Sorry for saying this.

  • You're hot (I love your back and slim arms) but you play this too fast. It must ripple, not run...

  • Ooooohhhhhhh... nonono..... wrong!!!!

  • well, since ive never heard this piece before. it sounds really really good. but yea it can be softer. it sounds hammered sometimes.

  • good playing btu electric pianos cant do justice to this piece
