April 12, 1999: two missiles fired by NATO warplanes hit a train while it was passing across a railway bridge over the Južna Morava river at Grdelica gorge, some 300 kilometres (180 miles) south of Belgrade in Serbia. As a result, 14 civilians were killed and another 16 wounded. The bombing occurred during Operation Allied Force, a NATO operation against the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia (FRY) This is the footage of the first missile strike.

  • As an croat ill say: payback time bitches

  • megabranko sto si napisao gore '' NATO operation against the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia''

    ispravnije je nato protiv Srbije

  • FUCK NATO

  • @ChillpointNews ...prevented NATO forces from engaging all sides that vowed to kill civilians. Until 1995, US and NATO finally got serious with Bosnian Serbs with a major bombing campaign that ended the war. If U.S. and NATO taken action early than 1995, the war would have ended.

As for reports being falsified, none of this detracts my argument that there is no doubt ethic cleansing took place in Kosovo(The court in the Hague ruled it). Far more people died had not U.S. and NATO intervened.

  • @ChillpointNews Innocent people died, yes, do you expect perfection from the NATO military? or not? If there were no ethic cleansing, then why are Albanians in Kosovo in late 1998 tried to flee into Albania, Macedonia, and other countries telling the horrors of Serb atrocities?

if you take time to look at UN actions in Bosnia, you see why NATO responded faster in Kosovo. They were ethic cleansing in Bosnia since 1992 but NATO and the UN did nothing to stop it. That's because UN mandate prev..

  • @Hperman09 You're speaking as if this was actual facts. But it's not. There are widespread evidence that NATO reports are totally falsified. As an example, NATO said that around 100 000 albanians had been killed BEFORE they entered Kosovo. But after the conflict, only 5 000 people were killed – counting both albanians and serbians.

  • @ChillpointNews Dude, there WAS ethic cleansing and massacres of Albanians by Serbian forces in 1998 only few months before NATO got involved. When NATO attacked Serbia and Kosovo in March of 1999, Serbian forces got bloody serious with ethic Albanians than it was in 1998. The KLA started attacking Serbian polices, then Serbia responded by "ethic cleansing" them them out of Kosovo and this outraged a lot in the world community as it fear Serbia is committing another "Bosnia" withing Kosovo.

  • @Hperman09 So then why did NATO continuously attack civilian targets and cause damage worth millions and millions of dollars? They were not carefully strikes on military targets. Have you even read up on what NATO:s final verdict was regarding military targets? The majority were civilian targets, and they used illegal cluster bombs as well. And on top of it all: there was no ethnic cleansing before NATO entered Kosovo.

  • @ChillpointNews No doubt that NATO committed a lot of errors during the Kosovo War but bottom line is that they weren't out to kill as many innocents, that's the difference when terrorists intentionally blow up markets in intentional knowing they are civilians. The point of this war was to get the Serbs to stop "ethic cleansing" Albanians in Kosovo and do what it takes to stop it as well as carefully strike military targets as well as oil fields to prevent Serb forces using it for their trucks.

  • @Hperman09 Oh, I'm glad you brought up the high altitude flights. Because they on their own broke international law. The solely intention of flying so high up, thus making it harder to separate enemies from civilians, is a crime of international law regarding reducing civilian deaths. And NATO weren't careful, the story behind this video shows it all. You're saying NATO mistook the train as military convoys – FALSE. They had a mission to bomb the bridge, not the train.
