1986 Kawasaki KX250 KX 250

start up after long sit ... the ratchet spring in the kicker is not putting pressure on the ratchet as it should, which is why its slipping; comman issue for the old KX's...spring has since been replaced.

@motocrossXisXawesome same here i got a 1989 kx 250 2 stroke off my uncle as my 2nd bike to trash on and like after say every 2-3 months the kick would put enough pressure on so it took alot longer to start but it still started up and after like a 20 minute ride it was sweet again....do u know what courses this?

Very clean 86 kx 250. I had one about 10 years ago. Thing was crazy fast. She had billet aluminum triple clamps, pro circuit pipe and silencer, black excel rims with gold talon hubs, suspension work done by pro circuit. I still wish I had her

my '89 KX has the same problem with the kicker, but it only happens sometimes.
