    I'm going to guess you mean the "plastic" back window and not the front or side glass windows. The answer is "no" as long as you use common sense just like you should use with any tool used on a car. Also, you're supposed to soak the Boars Hair Brushes for 30 minutes before use to soften the natural hairs. -Mike
