  • hey dude how dose a simple bend seprate a good guitar player from a bad one because you can bend a string to the fifth duch bag

  • Great vibrato: Paul Kossoff of Free, Ronnie Montrose (chordal vibrato), Stevie Ray Vaughan, Robin Trower then there is David Gilmour but he uses the whammy bar for his vibrato.

EDIT: I say then there is not to suggest order of greatness but only that Gilmour does it mechanically compared to the others listed.

  • nice chops. you have good feel, and the advice was informative.Vibrato, like an individual player's approach, is subjective and pretty much varies from player to player as it fits the mood of the song, but I would agree, along with muting, pick attack and overall "feel"...it's basically all in the wrist.

  • I wouldn't say that one vibrato is better / weaker etc, I would say that each person expresses themselves in a different way.

  • read the biography of eric clapton and and jimi hemdrix, the both make Clapton look very bad.

  • Clapton's vibrato is not weaker than Hendrix's.. this is just your opinion. I disagree! For me it is the opposite. You'd better not tell personal opinions just as absolute truth. Btw, Clapton's vibrato is different from what you showed, since normally he moves back his thumb, and doesn't just move the string up and down.

  • ooo knocking eric clapton

  • good vibrato examples .. Kossoff, Trower, Danny Kirwan, Peter Green, Philp Sayce .. ooo and ME !

  • I would have saved a week of pure practicing if I'd seen this video a year ago!

You are freaking awesome! Love ya!
