Riley McNamara of Center Middle School in Strongsville created this video public service announcement as part of the Pause to Click Contest. His video titled "Always Wear a Seat Belt" was selected as a finalist and was a runner-up in the video category at the Pause to Click event held at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum on June 6, 2009.
Pause to Click is part of Rainbows Safe Rides for All Kids program, a multifaceted effort to increase occupant restraint (i.e. seat belts) use for children of every age by reaching kids and parents where they live, work, and play. The Pause to Click campaign is funded by a grant from Kohls. The contest is held each spring and invites sixth, seventh, and eighth grade students from Northeast Ohio to write a song, create a video PSA, or make a poster promoting buckling up among their peers.
