@xexoy2 soap got the knife in in chest..
there are 2 reasons soap could of survived and ghost didn't.
1. the knife didn't go through soaps heart, just deep in his chest
2. soap was really lucky
3. ghost was probably bleeding really badly from his shoulder and he didn't get medical attention. soap got medical attention in time.

@4858chris afgter the marines death in cod4, Shepherd thought that USA power has been weakened so he decided to start the war to make USA the most powerful nation in the world. he setted everything up, including Allen's death. When he pins down Makarov and Ghost and Roach retrieve his information, Shepherd decides to erase TF141 so no one would know the true behind the airport massasre and establish himself as the war hero who made USA powerful again and defeated makarov, all by himself.

wow killing shepherd is ALOT harder than killing makarov I mean makarov only kill one of the guys shepherd almost killed one but literally beat up both of them

Shepherd thought he could easily get away with killing the Roach, and getting the Ghost, but just as he was about to pay the Price for his crimes, he slipped on the Soap and died.
