Pangender - The Grey-Area of Gender

Awareness needs to be raised about this subject!
I know how it feels to be confused and misunderstood. I know how it feels to constantly wonder where it is you fit in. Like there's no one in the world you can relate you and you're all alone.
You're not.


"Pangender is a term for people who feel that they cannot be labeled as male or female in gender.
Pangendered people feel that they do not fit into binary genders, instead identifying as mixed gender (both male and female).
Whereas sex refers to someone's anatomy, gender refers either to gender identity or gender role, which are roles and qualities that society associates with being either men or women.
In some cases, pangender individuals are born with the physical sex characteristics of either males or females, but frequently display the cases, outward appearance, behavior and/or clothing of the opposite gender.
Pangender individuals are happy living "in between" and have no desire to live exclusively as one gender or the other."

However, we cant deny the presence of these biases and expectations of gender in our society now. For the moment, genderqueer identities help those who have distinct issues with the biases that continue exist and allow them to find others who feel similarly.

In short, genderqueer may not be not the best step, but it's a step forward.

I've recently decided that I identify with pangender and feel I need to respond to the previous argument:

I don't agree with the idea of gender; I think it's ignorant considering how far our society has evolved and basically a vestigial organ from when humans live in a state of nature and gender roles are needed for survival. The idea of gender roles and identity now subverts equality amongst the sexes by basically continuing the idea that....(cont.)

I don't see you jumping on the pangender bandwagon! I don't expect you to. And frankly, I am surprised that you were serious when you suggested I involve myself with your campaign.

Nothing I said to you changed your view on pangender or homosexuality. You have your strong opinions and that is fine. You are entitled to believe whatever you want.

WHY on Earth would I support your message? A message that goes against my identity, my sexuality, my being?! What's not to '"understand" about that?

...then maybe you can help by campaigning against the global

institutionalization of misandry and the destruction of the male gender

(which, in hindsight, leads to the destruction of the human race).

I never meant to imply anything of that nature. Emotion, Care, and Nurture are qualities that any HUMAN BEING is capable of, regardless of their sex.

I would never put blame on someones gender or sexual orientation for their actions. There are good PEOPLE, there are bad PEOPLE, and there are PEOPLE who make mistakes. Of ALL kinds.
