I had a seat above the Kinston Indians (visitors) dugout close to third base for this game. I used my Canon EOS 7D with Sigma 120-300mm F2.8 zoom lens. I developed the pictures using Adobe Lightroom 3.0 and Photoshop Elements 7.0 (using Noiseware 2.0 to reduce graininess from shooting at high ISOs ... this was a night game).

Unlike my previous baseball games, this time I kept it on shutter priority instead of aperture priority (most of the shutter speeds being 1250 to 1600th of a second). This worked better than aperture priority where I got some halo effects on white clothing when the shutter speed was extremely high and so was the ISOs. I also think I was pretty disciplined in not trying to get shots of the outfielders in favor of capturing infield action.

My next baseball game will be the Washington Nationals playing on 27th of July. I paid to have a front-row seat on the third base line so I'm really hoping to get some excellent shots.
